ELECTRICAL TWINS (Fede+Gigio) Influenzati dal suono techno di Detroit e, in particolare, da artisti quali Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Dave Clarke, Derrick May, gli Electrical Twins nascono artisticamente a Torino nei primi anni del nuovo millennio. Dopo svariate apparizioni nei migliori club torinesi (The Beach, Centralino, Jam Club, La Gare , Puddhu Bar, Loft Club, Hennesy, Chalet, Vertigo, Rock City, Pier 7-9-11,...), al fianco di alcuni tra i top djs attualmente in circolazione (Adam Beyer, Mauro Picotto, Derrick May, Octave One….) ed aver varcato alcune console ibizenche (Meganite@Privilege, Fuck off@Space), i “twins” hanno imparato a sviluppare dj set di matrice techno carichi di contaminazioni minimal ed electro. Le loro esibizioni sono capaci di coinvolgere il dancefloor ipnotizzandolo e scuotendolo dall’ inizio alla fine. Attualmente gli Electrical Twins sono tra i responsabili artistici e resident djs di Hipe@Suono, progetto che mira ad importare sulla scena torinese solo il meglio della techno music mondiale.
“Electricaltwins” is the duo composite by Fede and Gigio. They are influenced by the Detroit ’s techno sound and, above all, by such artists as Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Dave Clarke, Derrick May. This duo takes shape in Turin in the beginning of the new millenium. They have been performing in the greatest clubs of this city beside many worldfamous top djs: Adam Beyer, Mauro Picotto, Derrick May, Octave One and so on. Electricaltwins have also performed abroad, warming up some of Ibiza ’s consolles (Privilege, Space ). Year after year, they have developed a strong type of techno djset, affected by the influence of a minimal and electro sound. Their exhibitions are able to involve and capture the dancefloor, hypnotizing and shaking it from the beginning of the party till the end. Nowadays, the Twins are art directors and resident djs of “Hipe” at Suono club, whose aim is to bring in Turin only the best kind of techno music.
