Gandalf, forse il primo dj torinese a proporre regolarmente set realizzati attraverso l’uso del laptop, è un classico ricercatore di suoni elettronici non sempre riferibili ad etichette e definizioni. Grazie a questa duttilità, dopo una breve residenza ai Docks Home nel 2003, tocca un gran numero di diverse realtà nel panorama del clubbing torinese: Fluido, Doctor Sax, AB+, The Beach°, Centralino, Alcatraz, Amantes, Docks8, Giancarlo, Puddhu, Bokaos sono solo alcuni dei club/locali nei quali ha proposto il suo suono.
Nel 2006 è stato inoltre chiamato come dj ufficiale per le Olimpiadi Invernali Torino 2006 (Palavela, disciplina short-track) e per i Mondiali di Scherma (Oval Lingotto). Nel 2007 è stato invece chiamato a chiudere il set di Trentemoeller alla Bardonite, la notte bianca di Bardonecchia, e a partecipare come dj e organizzatore al Festival IAmFromDetroit. Dal 2006 è resident dj, insieme a Breezo, del progetto di "clubbing itinerante" Techno Community, con cui si è esibito in diversi locali torinesi oltre che ai festival Sound Hills di Vicenza e Forte Sonoro di Vinadio. Da settembre 2007 organizza e si esibisce nella serata MOOD. (i venerdì sera) presso il Fluido di Torino, dove ha suonato al fianco di dj del calibro di Jerome Sydenham e Len Faki. È inoltre fondatore del portale Torinoforum.it, ormai punto di riferimento per i clubber e gli appassionati di musica torinesi.
Gandalf has been probably the first Turin dj to make dj-sets only with a laptop pc. He's loves to research electronic sounds and it's very hard to classify him with labels or definitions. Thanks to his open view, after a brief residency in Dock Home, since 2003 he's playing in various important clubs in Turin: Fluido, Doctor Sax, AB+, The Beach°, Centralino, Alcatraz, Amantes, Docks8, Giancarlo, Puddhu, Bokaos are just a few of them.
In 2006 he was the official 2006 Winter Olympic Games dj for the short track contests and the official dj for the World Fencing Championships in Turin. In 2007 he closed Trentemoeller exhibition during Bardonite event and he was amorng the orgnizers and djs of the IAmFromDetroit Festival. Since 2006 he is resident dj of the "Techno Community" project with his dj friend Breezo. Together they played in most of the clubs of Turin and they have been invited to the Sound Hills Festival in Vicenza and to the Forte Sonoro Festival in Vinadio. In September 2007 he started his residency (as dj and organizer) in Fluido wiht the MOOD night where he supported djs such as Jerome Sydenham and Len Faki. He's also founder of the Torinoforum.it web-portal, the most important website for clubbing and music lovers in Turin.
