Headvision is a multimedia artist working in the visual experimentation field since 2004. His investigation spreads from the realization of experimental films to video installations, from mixmedial performances to vjing. His production is based on the contamination between man and machine and originates from the mix of various approaches, technologies and artistic experiences: super 8 mm, digital animation, cinematographic language and videoclips, motion graphics and real-time processing use.
Headvision's works are often focused on the interaction with music and in particular with the Turinese electronic music scene. In 2007 he started to collaborate with musicians like passEnger and xluve in the "In my room" live set and won "Milano in digitale II" and "Live!iXem 2007" with eniac thanks to the multimedia project called "B-Light Project".
He took part in important italian and international expositions such as "Scope New York" (USA), Mulhouse Art Fair (FR), "Transnatura Videolab" (P) and "Milano in Digitale II" (ITA). Among his several participations to art festivals we must mention "Resfest - Digital Film Festival" (ITA), "Image Party Toronto"(CND), "LPM - Live Performers Meeting" (ITA), "Sound Hills Festival" (ITA) with passEnger and xluve, "Live!iXem italian experimental electronic music"(ITA) and "DID Festival Danza Interattiva Digitale" (ITA).
Headvision is a VJ member of Nokia Trends Lab (ITA), proud member of the video-artistic collective [PAM] - Perpetual Art Machine (USA) and has under his belt productions with the netlabel Vidaux (ITA) and Swarm Records (FR).
He lives and works as a videomaker and web designer in Turin.
Headvision, artista multimediale, lavora nel campo della sperimentazione visuale dal 2004. La sua ricerca spazia dalla realizzazione di film sperimentali alle videoinstallazioni, dalle performance mixmediali al vjing. I lavori, incentrati sulla contaminazione tra uomo e macchina, prendono vita dall'unione di tecniche, tecnologie ed esperienze artistiche differenti: super 8mm, animazione digitale, videoclip, motion graphics e l'utilizzo del real-time processing.
La produzione spesso focalizzata nell'interazione con la musica e in particolare rivolta verso la scena elettronica torinese, collaborando dal 2007 con musicisti come passEnger e xluve nel live set "In my room" ed eniac nel progetto multimediale "B-Light Project" (quest'ultimo vincitore dei contest "Milano in Digitale II" e "Live!iXem 2007").
Ha partecipato ad importanti esposizioni italiane ed internazionali quali "Scope New York" (USA), Mulhouse Art Fair (FR), "Transnatura Videolab" (P) e "Milano in Digitale II" (ITA).
